I am the Head of Creative Marketing at Buckle, a digital financial services company providing insurance for the gig industry. In my role I oversee and manage all creative collateral, design direction, and actively contribute to our performance marketing strategy.
Before joining Buckle, I worked at Drive My Way for over three years where I managed the digital marketing efforts and lead generation strategy. This includes overseeing and optimizing Drive My Way’s digital presence to drive organic leads through marketing campaigns based on user behavior. Before joining Drive My Way, I worked at ERC for nearly four years where I oversaw and managed the organization’s digital marketing efforts and technology strategy. Some of my key achievements at ERC included redesigning and developing all three of the company’s websites; initiating, proposing, and building a new line of passive, profitable business in the online training space; and generating over $500,000 of revenue through my digital marketing strategy and execution.
Before ERC, I worked in marketing and graphic design roles at companies including Cleveland Clinic, ipsoCreative, and Szarka Financial. Additionally, I completed freelance projects for a variety of companies, some including the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Business Connects Magazine, Hobe & Lucas CPAs, and Moscarino & Treu.
I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Marketing in 2014 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design in 2015. I also have an Inbound Marketing Certification, Email Marketing Certification, and Growth-Driven Design Certification from HubSpot’s Inbound Marketing University as well as a Google Analytics IQ Certification from Google.
My areas of expertise
I have a strong background in graphic design, digital marketing, email marketing, and front-end web design and development.
With extensive experience with brand development, I’ve overseen how a company is represented across all forms of communication. I’ve also overseen and managed websites, email marketing campaigns, and inbound lead generation efforts, which have generated thousands of dollars of revenue for many organizations.
Some Appreciated Feedback
Kerry is a self-motivated, hard-working, and creative person. She has the motivation to learn new skills and fine-tune skills she already possesses, taking constructive criticism to heart and truly putting an effort into improving her abilities. Kerry can take a website and make it easy to navigate without sacrificing its flare. She especially excels in team environments and always brings unique ideas to the table, a talent that is difficult to find.
Kerry and I worked together on a variety of designs for print and the web while working at Cleveland Clinic’s Office of Civic Education Initiatives. Kerry has a great eye for design and has an excellent work ethic. She contributed strong ideas and designs for an extensive website project, and took photographs that accurately documented work being done by high school interns. She works well on a team and independently.
Kerry displayed a strong passion for learning and I continue to be impressed (which, for anyone who knows me, is hard to do) with her ability to produce a high volume of work in less than expected time frames for completion, while maintaining a very high level of quality. What will do so much to make Kerry successful, regardless of career/employer, are her passion, eagerness to learn, interpersonal skills, engaging personality, very strong work ethic and her selfless, “do whatever it takes to help others” approach.
Kerry has done very professional design work for us at Joseph & Joseph, CPAs. She developed top quality items for us such as our logo, business cards, folders, and labels. She was very prompt in producing the pieces and with her communication throughout the process. The pieces truly help us get noticed in a competitive environment among other CPA firms in the Cleveland/Akron area.
